C'EST MAGIQUE (14) ran quite well first up at Caulfield in the G3 Cockram Stakes behind Benedetta. She's a good mare who ran second to In Secret in the Newmarket at this track and trip and if she brings that form she'll go awfully close. STAR PATROL (2) was out on his feet late but held them off first up in the G2 Bobbie Lewis. Up in the weights here but loves the straight and should only be fitter. JIGSAW (1) is a handy sprinter resuming. he was in flying form last time in and although unproven at Flemington, his best is certainly good enough. SHOWMANSHIP (4) is interesting. He was once one of the most exciting horses in the country and did win first up at Randwick last time in, albeit almost a year ago. ZOUTORI (7) was good first up but hasn't won in a long time.

Smart sprinter who will be up on speed giving a bold sight.

First-up after seven months tracked the speed and boxed on steadily; won by a nose at this track G2 Bobbie Lewis September 16 over 1200m defeating King Of Sparta carrying 54.5kg at $4. Previously second-up 6th of 16 at Sandown-Lakeside in the G1 Oakleigh Plt on February 25 over 1100m, 2 len behind Uncommon James with 52kg at $9.50. Should progress from that first-up run.
Group 3 winner. Third-up today and won third-up in the past. First-up raced on the speed and boxed on steadily 4th of 7 at Moonee Valley in the LR Norman Carlyon on August 26 over 1000m, 3.5 len behind Acromantula with 58.5kg at $13. Second run from a spell raced on the pace before fading to run last of 10 at this track in the G2 Bobbie Lewis on September 16 over 1200m, 16 len behind Star Patrol carrying 54kg at $41. Beaten comfortably last time out but this suits.

Finished off last campaign second last of 14 at Caulfield in the G1 Rup Clarke September 17 2022 over 1400m, in the wet; 4.5 len behind Callsign Mav with 56.5kg at $5.50. Previous preparation first-up won by long-neck Randwick G3 Show County August 20 2022 over 1200m slow track defeating Prime Candidate with 55kg at $3.30. Good horse at his best, watch the market.
