PRINCESS GRACE (3) is very short and deservedly so. Her form is better than these, beaten by Fangirl and Mr Brightside this time in. She was okay in the G1 Makybe Diva but still only beaten 2.5 lengths and back to a G2 mare's race, drawn perfectly, she should be winning. SKEW WIFF (1) creates some interest. A last start G1 winner in New Zealand, she carries the penalty for that but obviously has lots of talent and if the favourite falters, she'll be pouncing. LIFE LESSONS (10) ran a much improved race second up, only run down by Amelia's Jewel. Even better suited to the mile and will give a sight. WROTE TO ARATAKI (4) was poor last time but good on resumption and can peak here. CLIMBING STAR (14) can give some cheek.

Last start tracked the speed and boxed on steadily 4th of 7 at this track in the G1 Makybe Diva on September 16 over 1600m, 2.75 len behind Mr Brightside carrying 57kg at $5.50. The run before that sat on the pace when 2nd of 14 at Caulfield in the G1 Memsie on September 2 over 1400m, long-neck behind Mr Brightside carrying 57kg at $6.50. Comes through elite form and should be beating these.
