Tricky little finish. PIVOT CITY (12) has been a bit costly since a first up win, beaten at $1.95 and $2.70 at his past couple. To be fair, he's been unlucky in both and not been beaten far at all. He won well down the straight here fresh and with clear running he can atone. MARBLE NINE (4) is a consistent sort, not far away in a strange Listed Straight Six result here last time out. He did beat home Pivot City at Bendigo three back and should prove hard to run down. RUE DE ROYALE (20) comes back in trip off some consistent form over a bit further against solid 3yo company. Needs another win but is racing well. NAMESAKE (8) was a narrow winner last week at Caulfield in a similar sort of race. Backs up here with each way claims. RHEINBERG (3) resumes. He'll likely want a bit further but has good ability on his day.
