Race Overview

Tough way to start. VON HAUKE (6) worked home well at Geelong over 1500m last start having also hit the line strongly in a handy race at Flemington prior. Looks suited getting to a mile and will take holding out. SEQUESTERED (7) put two big wins on the board and looked to travel as the winner last start but gave out late. 1600m might be a query but she should be better for the run and drops to 53kg here. WATADEEL (9) should be suited getting to this trip. Building well and can get into the figure. JAPANESE EMPEROR (2) ran a better race last start over 1440m at Caulfield. Did place in a G1 Australian Guineas over this route last time in and should improve again. FARHH FLUNG (5) won an average race last time but is fit and in form.
