MERIDIUS (2) just poked around fresh in the Zeditave. Never a winning threat there but he can be better for the return and better for getting back to 1400m. Ran really well in the Guineas Prelude at the trip behind a smart one in the spring and that effort pointed to him being up to winning better races than this. Similarly, LETHAL THOUGHTS (8) had a go at the Guineas in the spring but he didn't fire there and was tipped out. Given a nice break and had shown talent prior. He can come good on his promise this time around. Liked the return from CLIMBING STAR (3) in a slow race where she rattled home before she failed to fire last time. Needs to bounce back but she has talent. So does IS IT ME (11) who is unbeaten in two and looks set to measures up along with JENNY JEROME (6) who won over 1200m last time but can be better again up to 1400m.

Second-up last time powered home 2nd 3.5L, Aft Cabin at Caulfield (Caulfield Guineas Prelude, 3YO-G3) 1400m. Could run well.
Could find this race easier than last start. Last run was 8th 8.3L, Wollombi at Flemington (The Tab Vanity (G3), 3F-G3) 1400m. Before that solid effort when she finished 6th 3.5L, Jacquinot at Sandown-Hillside (Manfred Stakes (G3), 3YO-G3) 1300m. Rates on top here.
