He was dynamic winning the Gilgai here fresh in the spring and followed that up with two runs that were every bit as good. He sets a strong standard. You will see few better Newmarket trials than the one I WISH I WIN (3) produced in the Lightning. He ripped home there, his late splits not subtle in pointing to him being all set to produce a big performance at 1200m. IN SECRET (15) has a terrific profile for the Newmarket. Three-year-olds invariably do well here and the Coolmore has been an outstanding guide in modern times. MAZU (2) is too good to be left out of considerations and similarly LOFTY STRIKE (9) is in such form that he demands to at least make the shortlist.
