Vase rated strongly and he looks like coping with the longer trip. PERICLES (5) was fantastic in the same race and got there in a hurry up from 1400m. Stable are flying and he looks like getting a great run. Think he has a genuine shot. Must respect SHARP 'N' SMART (1) who was tough winning the Spring Champion and has long looked like this trip would be not only within range but suit. Can say the same of MR MAESTRO (4) who has been faultless in his preparation for this and the yard are flying. MURAMASA (10) has a chance from behind him last time.
