Race Preview

HAYASUGI (1) sat wide and tried hard on debut behind what looks a very smart filly at Moonee Valley over 1000m. Best of the rest there, she brings a good rating and looks the horse to beat. CHOSEN LEGEND (2) started shorter than Hayasugi on debut having trialled also beaten that horse in a trial prior. Does need to find a little bit but wouldn't shock whatsoever. ARABIAN SUMMER (3) showed very good early speed at Caulfield on debut and was only run down by a well spruiked horse. Will be zipping along in front and gives them something to catch. HARPALEE (8) might be the pick of the debutants. She looked smart winning her latest jumpout and should be respected. KARAVAS (4) got the job done on debut as favourite at Murray Bridge. Harder here but is in the mix.
