THE NEPHEW (14) looks to be crying out for 2000m having worked home well at all three runs back, the latest over 1800m at Sandown-Hillside when third. Drawn the carpark so is going to get back again but they should run at a reasonable clip and he'll be steaming home late. ARISTONOUS (9) is a big danger. He was left with too much to do at Caulfield last start when heavily backed as favourite. The two wins in NSW were excellent and he may be able to settle closer from the draw here.
