Perfect race for GREY RIVER (4) coming back to Melbourne. Terrific over the 1400m here in the spring and she is an even better filly now with her close up efforts in Group races in Adelaide rating above what is likely to be required here. Fancy she gets the job done. If there is one that can improve to match her then it might be CASTILLIAN (2) who is yet to hit his spring peak this campaign but has hinted at a return to that sort of form in his latest couple. PRIVATE JUMBO (8) will be up on speed and has a nice chance on the back of his good placing in similar last time. BRUNG KING (7) comes off a win in easier but he is giving the impression that he is both tough and reliable.THE PRODIGAL SON (13) did the job fresh at Canberra and was good here second up last prep.
