Open race. ARRAN BAY (7) can lead and is rock-hard fit. He was only beaten narrowly at listed level last start at Caulfield off a smart win here prior. Takes plenty of catching from the low draw. BRAYDEN STAR (4) finished 7/9 first up in the Echuca Cup but it was a bunched finish. Better for that and will improve second up out to a mile. FORGOT YOU (1) resumes. This is a good trip for him to kick off in and he has the class. Barrier one could be a bit tricky if he's back near last but he's good enough. FRANKIE PINOT (5) has had two runs back from a spell and should be ready to peak now. He'll be back in what is likely a slowly run race. GALERON (6) resumes. His only Aus run was in the Golden Eagle. May have improved and his UK best would go close.

Previously first up; seventh of 14 at Caulfield in the G2 Lawrence Stk August 19 over 1400m, 4 len behind Mr Brightside carrying 59kg at $201. Will improve off this but is in the mix.

First up last campaign 12th of 15 at Caulfield Bm100 August 19 over 1600m, 4.5 len behind Jimmy The Bear with 60kg at $19. Just watching this one.

First-up after four months eased back early on 4th in a small field at this track in the G3 Shaftesbury Ave on March 9 over 1400m, 5.5 len behind Von Hauke with 54.5kg at $21. Previously second-up 13th of 18 at Rosehill Alan Brown on October 7 over 1400m, 4 len behind Cepheus carrying 52kg at $67. Improver with definite claims.
Group 3 placegetter. Second run back. First-up after four months from last on the turn 7th of 9 at Echuca Echa Cup on March 10 over 1400m, 2 len behind Imperial Lad with 59.5kg at $4.50. Previously second-up came from midfield and won by 0.8 len at Sandown-Hillside Bm84 May 27 over 1600m in soft going defeating French Emperor with 55kg at $3.50. Strips fitter and will take holding out.

Resuming from last on the turn 8th of 12 at Moonee Valley in the LR Abell Stks on March 1 over 1200m, 2.5 len behind Indian Pacific carrying 58kg at $21. Second-up 4th of 9 at Rosehill Bm88 on March 16 over 1400m, on a slow track; 3 len behind Whinchat with 61kg at $41. Will be running on.

When resuming last campaign 3rd of 11 at Newcastle All Weather in LR on April 7 over 1614m, 2.75 len behind Dear My Friend with 59kg at $13. Trialled on March 4 at Wyong over 1000m and finished fifth. Interesting runner.

The race before that tracked the speed and boxed on steadily; won by a head at this track Bm84 February 17 over 2000m defeating Aramco carrying 57kg at $4.50. Back in trip but can run well.
At the latest run raced behind the speed prior to fading second last of 10 at Yarra Valley Y Vly Cup on March 17 over 1968m, 19 len behind Suizuro carrying 54kg at $67. The run before that second last of 10 at Pakenham Vgold Bullion on February 29 over 1400m, 4.5 len behind Bel Air carrying 58kg at $26. Can improve on recent efforts.
