BANK MAUR (4) all but won the Manfred at Sandown. The pace as slow there but hard to ignore the fact that the winner came out and won the Orr last week and the formline makes plenty of appeal. From easier, ATTRITION (14) looks sure to measure up. Too good at Sandown then walked in at Geelong with plenty of fresh air between him and the pack. Ratings have been strong. ELLIPTICAL (5) brings the big spring formlines to the table. Just missed in the Guineas and the Spring Champion and should have a big second half of the season ahead of him. HOLYMANZ (13) won well first up and can improve sharply on that out to 1400m now. CADETSHIP (11) has a hope down from Sydney where form around him has been working out really well.

Suited here.
First-up (2:1-0-0): Resuming after a break should not pose a problem as is a proven performer first-up (1 from 2). Resuming last time good run when he finished 4th 1.5L, Berkeley Square at Flemington (Exford Plate, 3YO-LR) 1400m. Rates very well.
